Mitchell-DeWeever | Magnolia Plantation – Charleston, South Carolina

Here at Wedding Headline, there are very few things we love more than a summer wedding at Magnolia Plantation. With this beautiful venue, a handsome groom with South American roots (Guyana), and a breathtaking bride with Charleston roots, it was bound to be a perfect day.

This wedding had a beautiful outside ceremony right by river, designed by the talented CiBi events, and an eloquent reception inside the main cabin. During the ceremony, the soothing music echoed off the oaks trees, provided by Charleston Virtuosi, giving it a real Charleston wedding feel. Another amazing asset to all southern weddings are their character, and believe me, this wedding was full of pizzazz. From the groom’s fraternity brothers performing a dance, to the bride and groom performing a family ritual by jumping over a broom together, this wedding was truly a celebration.

One of the things that always catches my eye at a wedding are the flowers, and man were these flowers to die for. Every floral arrangement had a Southern feel with a twist! Branch Design added their own special touch by varying each arrangement with color, type, and size. Not to mention they were placed all around the venue in adorable mason jars! Nothing is better than a southern wedding, at Magnolia Gardens, with a bride and groom totally head over heels for each other. Cheers!
